Terms and Conditions

We specialise in transfers to and from UK airports and provide an efficient, friendly and customer focussed service to all clients, whether regular travellers or those making a once a year journey on holiday. We recognise the need to provide a professional, individual service for each client. Our vehicles are licensed to take up to eight passengers and we cater for individuals and groups.

From the moment you first make with contact us, we’ll do our utmost to ensure that your booking and transfer go as smoothly as possible. We will provide an air-conditioned vehicle for the number of passengers and the luggage requirements specified by you. You will have an experienced driver with excellent customer service skills and an extensive knowledge of the getting customers to their destination on time.

We can provide a 'Meet and Greet' service, where the driver will be in arrivals with the passenger's name or company name, whichever you prefer.

Please ensure that you read these terms and conditions of service carefully, before the service commences. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

All passengers are advised to have adequate travel insurance prior to booking. Steve’s Airport Transfers (SAT), advises customers to allow sufficient time to reach the airport in advance of their flight. As a general rule, we would recommend arriving at the airport, 3 hours before long haul and 2 hours before short haul flights. SAT cannot accept any responsibility for missed flights for whatever reason i.e. traffic delays, accidents, breakdowns, severe weather conditions or any unforeseen circumstances. SAT will provide evidence needed by the customer should they need to claim against a third party, such as an airline, for missed or delayed flights.

SAT can take no responsibility for costs of any passengers who do not wait for their driver and take alternative transport. SAT does not accept responsibility if the passenger/luggage requirements exceed the capacity of the vehicle booked. If you are unsure about the capacity of the vehicle booked please contact us in advance to discuss the best solution.

When booking a pick up on your return to the UK, please ensure that you provide us with the flight number, time and date of your arrival in the UK, and not the time and date of your departure from the airport you are leaving from. We will provide you with the contact number of the SAT driver, who will be taking you on your journey. If you become aware of any changes to your flight times, please inform the driver.

SAT uses their own transport wherever possible but do use third party companies where appropriate.

Payments

Payment can be made by following methods:

To the driver in Cash.

Waiting Time

No charge is made for the first 2 hours hour's waiting time after the plane has landed. We only charge after two hours have elapsed after landing time and will be charged, regardless of reason, at £20 per hour pro Rata. For all other journeys, charging will begin from the scheduled pick up time and be added at £20per hour pro rata.

Tolls

Any road, bridge or other tolls are not included in the generic price for the journey. Your driver will ask you for the money or this can be taken from your card if you prefer.

Amendment Policy

If you wish to make any amendment to the booking, please contact us by telephone on +44 (0) 7807 109385 or email at info@stevesairporttransfers.co.uk. Amendments should not be made with your driver.

Booking Policy

All bookings must be made through the office via, telephone or e-mail. Confirmed journeys are insured. All bookings must be made through an operator and it is illegal for private hire drivers to accept journeys directly. We will send e-mail confirmations to all of our passengers, provided they have included a valid e-mail address with their booking.

Cancellation Policy

SAT cancellation policy is clear. We will accept any cancellation made with at least 24 hours notice. There will be an administration charge of the greater amount of £10 and 10%, to cover costs. The cancellation must be made by email. You will receive an email confirmation of the cancellation. If you do not receive a SAT confirmation email, we have not received your cancellation. In this case please call our out of hours number, which is +44 (0) 7807 109385 Refunds will not be made;

  • If the passenger does not show up for pre-paid journeys.
  • For cancellation of a booking with less than 24 hours’ notice.
  • If the passenger books the vehicle for a wrong date, wrong flight number or other misleading information.
  • If the passenger leaves the pick up point with out informing us.
  • Once a passenger has used the service no refund will be considered.

In any circumstances where a refund, is requested, this should be addressed directly to SAT customer services at the address on your booking form.
